Key Account Manager - Career with a Global Automotive Player

Manufacturing location: Bycta / Slovakia

Experienced key/ sales account manager with responsibility for Asian Customers  and Tier 1 (especially MOBIS). The incumbent is a key member of the sales group and responsible for achieving the forecasted sales and profit objectives according the TRW EF& C Components strategy and goals. Create and maintains a market with current and new potential customers. 

 

Overall Purpose of Job:

It provides a broad overview of the position. Includes an overall scope of position and a description of authority the position has for programs/projects/operations and establishing policies.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

List of major areas of responsibilities and accountabilities of the position; where appropriate, include quantifiable data that describes the overall financial report of the position to the organization (e.g. annual sales volume, annual purchase amount, number of employees and/or annual budget).

 

 

-       Achieves and maintains effective relationships with customers to promote the company’s overall competences, technologies and product lines.

-       Carries out assignments on specific markets or products to develop future business opportunities.

-       Has intensive relationship to TRW Aisa, especially Korea (TCFI)

-       Identifies new opportunities to ensure continued growth of sales

-       Undertakes projects designed to satisfy all requirements of TRW and customer

-       Works together with all internal departments and TRW plants

-       Maintains his personal knowledge of the company’s products and technologies, their application, the company’s competitive position and reports on these matters to his manager.

-       Achieves and maintains data base of competitor activity to plan and secure additional market sector.

-       Ensures pricing and price structures according the requirements of the budget and market prices.

-       Responsibilities for regional Profit and & Loss

-       Preparation and execution of price negotiations

-       Preparation and examination of contracts according TRW policies

-       Reports to German GM Bycta

-       Working place is Bycta in Slovakia

 

Position requirements:

 

-       Ensures the establishment, the development and the attainment of the sales plans and targets.

-       Supports the CDM to prepare the yearly and the Long Range (LRP) Sales Forecast as well as the Forecast

-       Submits monthly written activity report, addressing current business activities, competitive activity and new product introduction customer information.

-       Works closely together with Internal sales, Engineering, Finance, Production and Quality

-       Further duties needed in the position of incumbent

Critical skills, abilities and characteristics necessary to perform job responsibilities.

 

-       Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility as well as different cultures is fundamental,

-       High level of interpersonal teamwork and communication skills

-       High level of negotiation skills and business mentality

-       Korean:      native language

-       English:       business fluent in spoken and written

-       Good IT knowledge (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, E-Mail System)

-       Feasibility and willingness for travel

 

 

 

Education and Experience:

-       Technical or economical study or a post-graduated degree, or equivalent

-       Working experience in East Europe, preferably Slovakia

-       Good experience (4 or more years) in Automotive Supplier Technical Marketing/Selling position, preferred in Interior Plastic Parts,

-       Good skills of injection molding processes and products.
